What I'll Miss When This Trip is Over:
Spending so much time with my husband
Reading a book a week
Making friends at the drop of a hat
Being in a new place and/or a new situation every day
Having license to wear the same clothes for days on end
Cleaning the whole "house" with one damp sheet of paper towel
Having my husband tend to the boat like he never tends to the house
Having no schedule
Having what schedule you have dictated by the weather
The simplicity of living small
Not shaving
Not caring if I forget to brush my teeth or hair
Lack of internet
The wilds of the Exumas
The finesse my husband and I exhibit when anchoring

What I Won't Miss When This Trip is Over:
Spending so much time with my husband
The lack of a freezer
The running of the engine to charge the fridge
The size of my berth
The size of my galley
Hitting my head in various places I should have memorized by now
People (all of the male persuasion) who wear t-shirts & ball caps with their boat names
People (all of the female persuasion) who are on laundry detail all the time
People (of all persuasions) who wear talismans (t-shirts, ball caps, jewelry, etc) of where they've been on the Great Bahamian Circle Route
The dearth of lone and/or competent women sailors, self included
The Floridian culture of the Abacos--why not just stay in Florida?
Lack of internet
Getting into a dinghy when drunk

What I Have Missed This Whole Trip:
IPA beer. Repeat, IPA beer.
A plentitude of clean drinkable water, that doesn't need carrying, filtering or paying for
A flush toilet that rarely clogs, that doesn't need pumping, that doesn't smell
Movies
Newspapers, news, gossip from home
My grandchildren
My dogs
Not much when I really think about it.
